Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • For alcohol serving restaurants, comply with state-mandated age requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to push, lift, carry or transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands for handling objects
  • Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate
  • Ability to use close, distance, color, and peripheral vision and adjust focus
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock, and register areas

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • College or culinary schooling preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution abilities

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations and staff according to company policies
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance and administer rewards and disciplinary actions including termination
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a warm and hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and implement corporate programs
  • Assist team members as needed with job duties
  • Champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Interact with guests to resolve food quality and service issues ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • Manage labor scheduling
  • Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • Maintain facility and company assets
  • Perform all other assigned duties
