Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • minimum of 5 years of relevant and extensive retail management experience preferred
  • proficient skill level with microsoft office software including word, excel
  • kronos and icims knowledge is a plus
  • prolonged walking and/or standing for 8-12 continuous hours
  • frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, balancing, pushing, pulling (e.g. ice cart with 50 or more 20 lb. bags of ice, and lifting product or material weighing 40 lbs. or more)
  • must have extensive management experience and possess excellent organization, administration and communication skills in order to be considered for this role

Job Duties

  • administer operational system that promotes ongoing maintenance to the entire store asset
  • foster a workplace that results in the development of a high performing team
  • recruit, develop, and inspire a highly effective team of retail associates
  • manage product offerings
  • support frontline employees during high traffic on various pos and transaction devices
  • onboard and train new employees to prescribed staff levels, up to 250 employees
  • administer employee performance management throughout employee life cycle
  • control labor and overtime
  • enforce company policies and procedures
  • implement inventory control
  • deliver clean, friendly, and in-stock to a pronounced level
  • provide guidance through observing, mentoring, and coaching staff
  • must be role model and leader
  • must solve problems, make informed decisions, and manage the workforce and time wisely in order to achieve maximum results
  • ensure that all staff are meeting the execution of daily tasks and operational goals
  • perform other duties as required and/or assigned
  • ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • employee must be able to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
