  • Must meet the legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (at select properties)
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must have basic market knowledge
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job
  • Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Progressive experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industry, including Rooms and Food & Beverage departments preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Maintain and improve guest satisfaction scores as a collaborative effort with team members
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the hotel's features and amenities
  • Support and demonstrate awareness of all hotel events and groups
  • Use and understand relevant technology and phone etiquette
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public areas as needed
  • Greet guests warmly even while performing cleaning duties
  • Complete operational checklists accurately and on time each shift
  • Prepare accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Ensure all team members wear clean, approved uniforms and maintain a professional appearance
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with all team members
  • Exhibit a can-do attitude and willingness to extend beyond traditional roles
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration to create a positive workplace
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and mechanical equipment
  • Onboard and train new team members according to established checklists
  • Complete daily summary and night audit processes per policy
  • Oversee and sign off on daily reports and ensure timely submission
  • Enforce brand standards and conduct self-audits for quality assurance
  • Ensure all team members adhere to appearance standards
  • Certify that fire and life safety inspections are current and corrected
  • Confirm completion of preventative maintenance and quality control
  • Manage adherence to team work schedules and shift changes
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, coaching, and development
  • Review and manage employee time clock records in compliance with policy
  • Process purchase orders and invoices through approved systems
  • Monitor and maintain inventory storage cleanliness and accuracy
