Job Requirements

  • College degree (BS/BA) preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Five years experience supervising at least 15 associates
  • Three years experience in hotel management including managing budgets
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass appropriate security clearances
  • Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds unassisted and lift and/or carry 30 pounds unassisted
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch and reach
  • Must be able to communicate with other associates and/or guests
  • Must maintain certification from brand approved responsible vendor training program

Job Qualifications

  • College degree (BS/BA) preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Five years experience supervising at least 15 associates
  • Three years experience in hotel management including managing budgets
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in Hilton or Marriott family of hotels preferred
  • Knowledge of government regulations applicable to hotel industry
  • Effective communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Financial analysis skills
  • Leadership skills to develop and counsel subordinate associates

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day operation of front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage
  • Ensure hotel operates within budget and brand quality guidelines
  • Coordinate with corporate recruitment to ensure proper staffing levels
  • Manage personnel, budget performance, and financial controls
  • Resolve guest concerns escalated from other guest service personnel
  • Ensure staff greet guests properly and adhere to uniform standards
  • Manage new hire processes and ensure completion of paperwork and orientation
