Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent hotel and management experience
- Experience as a General Manager at a similar hotel
- Proven track record of meeting budgets and understanding P&L statements, budgets, and cost/inventory control
- Preferred field management experience
- Sales background is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with PC and Windows-based software
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks

Job Duties
- Delivers results that contribute to hotel success by accomplishing performance objectives focused on business revenues, guest and associate satisfaction, and operational efficiency
- Maintains a quality product ensuring operational standards meet brand expectations
- Ensures exceptional guest and employee relations promoting a positive and welcoming environment
- Maximizes room revenues by anticipating market shifts, developing and monitoring strategic marketing plans, and participating in national marketing efforts
- Develops and maintains rapport with key community contacts to establish a visible local presence
- Oversees security functions to ensure a safe environment for guests, employees, and hotel assets
- Maintains proactive human resources management including employee motivation, training, wage and benefit administration, and compliance with policies and labor laws
- Monitors financial and operational plan performance supporting corporate objectives
- Develops annual budget and recommends capital improvements enhancing company assets and brand loyalty
- Performs other duties as assigned to support hotel operations and strategy
