Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations and staff according to company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise employee performance
  • Reward and discipline employees including termination
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and roll out corporate initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control day-to-day operations including cash control, inventory, and scheduling
  • Manage food cost, labor cost, and controllable expenses
  • Oversee inventory processes and portion control
  • Optimize employee scheduling and monitor sales performance
  • Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • Maintain facility and company assets
  • Perform other assigned duties
