Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • 4-6 years of restaurant experience preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred
  • knowledge of OSHA and health safety codes
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage staff and operations
  • ability to handle physical demands including standing and walking for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • availability to work shifts including weekends
  • adherence to state alcohol serving age requirements if applicable

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations and staff in line with company policies
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and coach team members
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • ensure high employee engagement and a positive culture
  • model professional behavior fostering a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives
  • assist team members with duties as needed
  • champion sales-building and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover and sales metrics
  • meet and greet guests, resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations and cost controls
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness
  • control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • manage P&L including food and labor cost
  • adhere to recipes and portion control
  • optimize employee scheduling
  • maintain restaurant equipment and facility
  • perform other assigned duties
