Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership role
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • ability to work various shifts including weekends
  • compliance with state age requirements for alcohol service where applicable
  • ability to stand and walk for long shifts
  • ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and using hands
  • good communication skills
  • ability to meet safety and sanitation standards
  • availability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor throughout shifts
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • college or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and reward or discipline staff including termination
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture and foster high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to the team
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with cost controls and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, inventory, labor, and food costs
  • manage labor scheduling and monitor sales performance
  • ensure proper use of equipment and maintain facility and assets
  • perform all other assigned duties
