Job Requirements

  • Must be proficient with Windows operating systems and company-approved software

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Preferred education is a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred
  • Experience in hospitality or related service industries is preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to make them feel welcomed
  • Work with team members to achieve great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the hotel’s facilities and amenities
  • Support all events and groups at the hotel
  • Use relevant technology proficiently in the role
  • Answer incoming calls with friendly service using approved greetings
  • Maintain sparkling clean workspaces in all areas
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests warmly while performing cleaning duties
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
  • Ensure shift handover reports are accurate and timely
  • Wear a clean and approved uniform with name tag, maintaining grooming standards
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude by stretching beyond traditional roles
  • Collaborate to create a welcoming environment for guests and a positive workplace
  • Conduct daily walks inspecting guest rooms and public spaces for cleanliness and service
  • Onboard new team members following established checklists
  • Complete daily summary and night audit processes
  • Start and complete shift handover reports and upload daily reports
  • Oversee compliance with brand quality assurance standards including self-audits
  • Enforce uniform and guest greeting standards
  • Certify all fire and life safety inspections are current and deficiencies corrected
  • Confirm preventative maintenance tasks are performed and checked
  • Manage adherence to team members’ work schedules and displace shifts as needed
  • Build a culture of learning and safety
  • Provide training to ensure staff expertise
  • Communicate growth opportunities and career paths
  • Provide daily feedback with positivity
  • Review previous day time clock punches
  • Ensure purchase orders and invoices are processed correctly
  • Keep approved storage areas clean and follow inventory programs
