Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant operations management experience
  • proven experience in recruiting and hiring
  • knowledge of labor laws and scheduling practices
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to manage budgets and financials
  • flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment
  • availability to serve as Manager on Duty for selected shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated 5+ years of operations management experience in themed entertainment, retail, restaurant, or hospitality industries
  • strong knowledge of hiring practices and training and development strategies
  • experience with shift-based labor scheduling balancing efficiency and employee satisfaction
  • demonstrated ability managing direct and indirect teams in fast-paced, agile environments
  • proven track record in ensuring safety, operational excellence, and vendor safety while fostering innovation
  • excellent verbal and digital communication skills
  • exceptional leadership skills
  • creative and innovative mindset
  • strong financial acumen

Job Duties

  • Oversee overall on-site operations for Friends Experience in Las Vegas within budget
  • lead teams and operational initiatives, providing guidance, support, and training
  • develop hiring strategies and guide third-party vendors to ensure service quality
  • manage labor scheduling modeling to balance operational needs with employee preferences
  • adapt quickly to changing circumstances to meet business demands
  • optimize ongoing operations for maximum efficiency and guest service
  • manage guest services, F&B, retail, security, custodial services, and vendor coordination
  • collaborate with OGX corporate teams across departments
  • promote innovation and foster a safety-focused culture
  • serve as Manager on Duty for select shifts
  • motivate, coach, and hold staff accountable with a people-first management style
  • handle guest complaints and staff concerns with high emotional intelligence
