Job Description

This job posting is for a General Manager position at a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos and food products, managing the restaurant as a separate entity from McDonald's USA. This means employment decisions and responsibilities such as hiring, firing, staffing, and scheduling are handled entirely by the franchisee, and not by McDonald's corporate offices. Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years or older
  • previous general manager experience required
  • experience managing a high volume quick service restaurant preferred
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • strong organizational and decision-making skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • willingness to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • previous general manager experience in high volume locations
  • background in quick service restaurants preferred
  • experience in hospitality or retail sectors acceptable
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • ability to set and achieve business goals
  • excellent communication and coaching abilities
  • age 18 or older

Job Duties

  • run a profitable restaurant
  • ensure the restaurant meets McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • set restaurant goals in collaboration with leadership
  • lead and coach a team of Department Managers
  • support Department Managers in goal setting and departmental improvement
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
  • manage daily restaurant operations efficiently
