Job Requirements
- minimum bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field
- at least 5 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury or lifestyle hotel management
- demonstrated success managing financial performance and property operations
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- experience in strategic planning and team development
- proficiency with hospitality technology systems
- commitment to uphold Hyatt’s standards and values
- willingness to engage with community and drive brand reputation
- fluency in English
- legal authorization to work in the country
- ability to lead diverse teams in high-pressure environments
Job Qualifications
- minimum 2 years experience as general manager in a lifestyle or high-profile 4 or 5-star hotel in a major cultural hub
- proven ability to create high-energy environments integrating nightlife, gastronomy, and artistic expression
- strong commercial acumen with expertise in revenue management and market trend analysis
- preferred experience in New York City union environment
- experience leading complex multi-outlet food and beverage operations
- visionary approach to hotel programming and guest experience design
- passion for arts, music, and entertainment industries with track record of cultural integration
- exceptional leadership skills to inspire and mentor diverse teams
- strong multitasking and attention to detail
- vibrant, highly social personality to engage guests and build community
- adaptability to non-traditional schedules including late nights
Job Duties
- manage owners' assets with a focus on maximizing returns and Hyatt's value proposition
- develop, execute, and evolve multi-year property business strategies focused on brand positioning
- maintain positive relationships with property ownership on behalf of Hyatt
- utilize data insights to inform business decisions
- oversee property financials including departmental profit and loss and financial reporting
- challenge and improve practices to meet guest and customer quality expectations
- optimize sales and revenue management strategy for growth and profitability
- maintain a well-maintained facility preserving asset value
- lead capital planning and owner capital utilization for property improvements
- embrace technology and digital initiatives to enhance performance and connectivity
- ensure safety of colleagues and guests
- align operations, guest service, and commercial offerings with the brand
- promote environmental sustainability
- balance needs and support of leaders, colleagues, guests, customers, owners, and community reputation
- adapt to change with sound judgement and data-driven problem solving
- drive strategic vision and execution through property leaders
