Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
- Prior leadership role experience required
- Must adhere to state-mandated age requirements for alcohol serving where applicable
- Ability to stand for entire shift and walk long periods without rest
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach with hands and handle objects
- Ability to bend, stoop, taste, smell, and verbally communicate effectively
- Able to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision and adjust focus
- Ability to access all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock and register areas
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations and staff according to company policies and laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise employee performance and conduct disciplinary actions including termination
- Address and resolve employee complaints and problems
- Foster a high level of employee engagement and shape the restaurant's culture
- Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to management and staff
- Assist team members with job duties as needed
- Champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
- Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- Greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and safety policies
- Enforce safe work behaviors
- Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
- Control day-to-day operations including cash security, inventory, financial reporting, and scheduling
- Manage profit and loss including food and labor costs
- Control food costs by enforcing recipes and portion control
- Optimize labor costs through effective scheduling
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facilities
- Perform all other duties as assigned
