Job Description

The hiring establishment is a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, which is separate from McDonald’s USA. This franchisee holds the license to use McDonald’s logos and food products but conducts all employment matters independently, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Job Requirements

  • must be 18 years or older
  • previous general manager experience
  • experience in quick service restaurants preferred
  • ability to lead and develop teams
  • strong communication skills
  • problem-solving skills
  • ability to manage high volume operations

Job Qualifications

  • previous general manager experience running high volume locations
  • background in quick service restaurants preferred
  • experience in hospitality or retail considered an asset
  • leadership and team management skills
  • ability to develop and mentor managers
  • strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • must be 18 years or older

Job Duties

  • run a profitable restaurant ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness standards
  • set restaurant goals with leadership and create plans to achieve them
  • lead a team of Department Managers by setting goals, following up on progress, and providing coaching
  • improve restaurant departments through effective management
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
  • manage staffing and scheduling to meet operational needs
  • ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations
