Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to follow guidelines and procedures

  • Proficiency with Windows OS and company software

  • Hospitality and guest service expertise
  • Valid Driver's License

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate’s degree preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Progressive experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industry including Rooms and Food & Beverage departments preferred
  • Must have a positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Effective communication skills to convey information clearly
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Skill in evaluating situations and making quick, accurate decisions
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems and company-approved software
  • Strong listening and conflict resolution abilities
  • Knowledge of financial information and basic arithmetic functions
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure and work well in high-stress situations
  • Hospitality and guest service leadership skills
  • Valid Driver's License and meet legal age for serving alcoholic beverages at select properties
  • Basic market knowledge
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Conduct daily supervision walks including guest rooms and public spaces to ensure friendly service and cleanliness
  • Verify adherence to cleanliness standards on room inspection checklists
  • Oversee onboarding and training of new team members ensuring adherence to onboarding checklists
  • Complete daily summary and night audit processes according to policy
  • Start and complete shift handover reports and upload daily reports to company platform
  • Ensure compliance with brand quality assurance standards through self-audits and corrective actions
  • Enforce uniform and attire standards requiring team members to wear approved uniforms and name tags
  • Certify that fire and life safety inspections are current and correct any deficiencies
  • Confirm preventative maintenance tasks are performed and visually checked
  • Monitor team members’ adherence to work schedules and manage shift displacements as necessary
  • Foster a culture of learning, safety, and continuous staff development
  • Provide daily coaching and moment-to-moment feedback to staff with positivity
  • Review and manage team members’ time clock punches according to policy
  • Ensure all purchases follow proper purchase order processes and invoices are submitted correctly
  • Process and sign off all invoices timely and accurately
  • Maintain clean and organized inventory storage following approved programs
  • Promote clear, honest, and professional communication among team members
  • Lead by example with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to exceed traditional role expectations
  • Support hotel events and demonstrate strong hotel and technology knowledge
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
