Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years restaurant management experience
- Ability to work minimum 5 day workweek including nights, weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of recruiting and interviewing practices
- Familiarity with labor laws and sanitation regulations
- Leadership and supervisory capabilities
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer and accounting skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Willingness to maintain appearance and uniform standards at SONIC
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related fields preferred
- Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience, preferably in QSR
- Experience running shifts without supervision
- Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and local health and sanitation regulations
- Leadership and supervisory skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic accounting and computer skills
- Problem-solving, decision-making and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to multitask and work autonomously
Job Duties
- Manages, trains, monitors and coaches crew, team members, carhops and skating carhops
- Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standards
- Adheres to and monitors employee compliance with the drive-in employee handbook, policies and practices
- Performs restaurant opening and closing duties
- Prepares employee work schedules and adjusts restaurant staffing levels
- Monitors and maintains restaurant inventory levels and places orders within cost control procedures
- Completes and maintains all employment and payroll records
- Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees focus on serving the customer
- Resolves guest requests promptly and respectfully
- Interviews and hires restaurant crew and management staff
- Prepares operational reports and develops action plans to address financial and sales trends
- Develops and implements marketing plans
