Job Description

This job posting is for a General Manager position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products to run the restaurant, but operates as a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. Job Requirements

  • be at least 18 years old
  • have prior General Manager experience in high volume quick service restaurants or related fields
  • possess strong leadership skills
  • demonstrate ability to develop and coach a team
  • be capable of managing staffing, scheduling, and operational goals
  • committed to maintaining high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • willing to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience as a General Manager in high volume restaurant locations
  • strong background in quick service restaurant operations, hospitality, or retail
  • ability to lead and motivate teams effectively
  • excellent organizational and communication skills
  • experience in hiring and staff development
  • knowledge of quality and service standards in restaurant management
  • minimum age of 18 years

Job Duties

  • run a profitable restaurant that meets McDonald’s standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • work with leadership to set restaurant goals and plans to achieve them
  • lead a team of Department Managers and provide coaching and direction
  • help Department Managers set individual goals and improve their departments
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
  • ensure high standards in customer experience and operational efficiency
  • manage staffing and scheduling to meet business demands
