Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in compliance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance, reward, discipline, and terminate employees as needed
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape and maintain restaurant culture with high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties occasionally
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover and sales per guest/hour
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost controls and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health, safety codes and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor quality food standards and cleanliness
  • Control daily operations including cash control, inventory, food and labor management
  • Manage profit and loss including food, labor, and carryout costs
  • Control food costs via recipe adherence and portion control
  • Optimize labor costs through scheduling tools and monitoring
  • Ensure proper use of equipment and maintain facility/assets
  • Perform other assigned duties as required
