Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior leadership experience required
- Preferred 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
- Ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
- Must meet state mandated age requirements to serve alcohol if applicable
- Ability to stand and walk long periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Effective communication skills
- Dedication to guest service
- Good planning and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 4-6 years leadership experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
- Prior experience managing team operations and financials
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent computer literacy and business math skills
- Proven ability to coach and develop staff
- Knowledge of OSHA and food safety regulations
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work varied schedules including weekends
- College or culinary education preferred
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and conduct
Job Duties
- Manage daily operations of the restaurant in line with company policies and applicable laws
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- Plan, assign, and direct work of the team
- Appraise performance, reward and discipline including termination as needed
- Shape and maintain a positive restaurant culture with high employee engagement
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure job success and high guest satisfaction
- Model professional behavior creating a warm and hospitable atmosphere
- Communicate sales performance and anticipate variances to management team
- Manage food cost, labor cost, and other controllable expenses
- Ensure OSHA, health and safety codes, and company safety policies are followed
- Monitor daily activities to uphold food quality and cleanliness
- Control inventory, cash, schedules, and review financial reports for adjustments
- Maintain facility and company assets
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction
- Implement sales-building activities and maximize table turnover and sales per guest
- Enforce safe work behaviors for team and guest safety
- Occasionally assist team members with job duties as needed
