Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some college preferred
  • Previous restaurant experience desirable
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to analyze financial statements
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Open availability to work various shifts
  • Must pass background check
  • Must pass drug test

Job Duties

  • Responsible for working the front counter to ensure quality service
  • Check product quality and communicate with customers
  • Train and coach employees on courtesy and complaint handling
  • Conduct meetings with team members and management to plan and review operations and policies
  • Develop and maintain sales using local store marketing
  • Monitor utilities and supply costs
  • Analyze profit and loss statements and take corrective action
  • Follow proper food preparation and serving procedures
  • Control restaurant inventory through established systems
  • Develop and post labor schedules
  • Adjust labor to changes in sales volume
  • Manage restaurant cash control and make daily bank deposits
  • Follow cash handling procedures
  • Report accidents and incidents to risk management promptly
  • Maintain a safe work environment and high health department ratings
  • Uphold restaurant cleanliness, uniforms, and image standards
  • Inform District Manager of hiring, promotions, and employee status changes
  • Process payroll
  • Maintain applicant tracking
  • Conduct performance reviews and document disciplinary actions
  • Maintain personnel files and post required federal and state posters
  • Utilize preventive maintenance systems for building and equipment
  • Attend meetings with District Manager
  • Perform required administrative paperwork
