Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior leadership experience
- 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
- knowledge of state mandated alcohol serving age requirements for manager positions where applicable
- availability to work various shifts and weekends
- physical ability to stand and walk long periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to use hands and reach
- ability to bend and stoop
- ability to taste and smell
- ability to verbally communicate
- ability to use vision and adjust focus
- access all areas of restaurant including sales floor, stock, and registers

Job Duties
- Manage daily operations and staff in accordance with company policies and laws
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance and manage rewards and discipline including termination
- address complaints and resolve problems
- cultivate a positive restaurant culture to ensure high employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members
- model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives
- assist team members with job duties as needed
- champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
- maintain operational efficiency with appropriate cost controls and profit management
- ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company safety policies
- enforce safe work behaviors
- monitor daily activities for quality food and cleanliness standards
- control cash, inventory, food, labor, and review financial reports
- manage P&L, food cost, labor cost, and other controllable items
- control food costs by following recipes and portion control
- manage labor costs through scheduling
- ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
- maintain facility and company assets
- perform other duties as assigned
