Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Minimum 4-6 years in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and company policies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coach and mentor staff
  • Ability to analyze financial reports and control costs
  • Ability to maintain safe work environment
  • Ability to meet physical demands including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas
  • Compliance with state alcohol serving age requirements where applicable

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations and staff in accordance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise employee performance
  • Reward and discipline employees including termination
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior creating a warm, friendly, hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and anticipated variances
  • Cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests
  • Investigate and resolve food quality/service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations and cost controls
  • Ensure OSHA, health, and safety compliance
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor quality food and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • Review financial reports and schedules
  • Manage P&L including food and labor cost control
  • Follow recipes and portion control
