Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- recruit, interview, hire and train employees
- plan, assign and direct work
- appraise employee performance
- reward and discipline staff including termination
- address complaints and resolve problems
- shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members
- model professional behavior and create a welcoming atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and expected variances to management
- cascade corporate initiatives to staff
- assist team members with duties as needed
- champion sales-building and suggestive selling activities
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
- maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profitable management
- ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
- enforce safe work behaviors
- monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
- manage cash control, inventory, food and labor
- review financial reports and schedules
- control food and labor costs
- maintain equipment and facilities
- perform all other assigned duties
