Job Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent education
  • Minimum three years experience in hotel management including sales and marketing
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
  • Ability to work independently and multitask in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Must be energetic, outgoing, and a team player
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Willingness to work primarily Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional weekend or holiday work

Job Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent in hotel business or related field
  • Minimum three years experience as Executive Assistant Manager or Resident Manager in a first-class hotel
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations including marketing, safety, personnel, and budget forecasting
  • Proven leadership skills to motivate and develop staff effectively
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software such as Opera
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

Job Duties

  • Perform administrative duties including defining operating objectives, setting goals, reviewing reports, and communicating
  • Oversee and coordinate forecasts and budgets, ensuring compliance and justification of deviations
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including wage and hour laws, OSHA, and EEOC requirements
  • Interview, hire, supervise, and counsel department heads and supervisors, establishing training programs to assure service quality
  • Physically tour and inspect hotel property daily to monitor cleanliness, condition, and cost control
  • Attend corporate meetings, sales trips, and participate in committees to support hotel growth and community relations
  • Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to increase hotel occupancy and food and beverage sales
