Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred but not required
  • previous restaurant experience required
  • knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
  • valid driver’s license
  • eligibility to work in the United States
  • agreement to background check

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
  • ensure 100% guest satisfaction in areas of quality, service and cleanliness
  • respond to guest complaints and take necessary actions to retain customers
  • provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues
  • maintain staffing plans, interview prospective employees and follow staffing processes
  • develop team members through ongoing feedback and performance reviews
  • create a positive work environment known in the community as the place to work
  • enforce sanitary practices and maintain health inspection scores of 90% or higher
  • ensure compliance with Moe's and Sterling operational standards, maintaining high scores on corporate inspections
  • manage food flow to ensure quality, portion control, and minimize waste
  • ensure proper security procedures to protect guests, employees, and assets
  • maintain a safe work environment and complete incident reports timely
  • manage shifts effectively
  • investigate mystery shopper and internal audit reports and develop improvement plans
  • adhere to Sterling standards for sales, labor hours, and food/paper cost goals
  • utilize monthly profit and loss reports to improve profitability
  • ensure all financial reporting is accurate and timely
  • book one spirit night event per month
  • promote strong community involvement of restaurant and staff
