Job Requirements

  • Must be ServSafe certified
  • must be certified Moe’s Manager
  • knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
  • valid driver’s license
  • eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred but not required
  • previous restaurant experience required
  • knowledge of MS Word and Excel

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
  • ensure 100 percent guest satisfaction in quality, service, and cleanliness
  • respond to guest complaints and implement solutions to foster repeat business
  • provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues
  • maintain accurate staffing plans, interview prospective employees, and ensure proper staffing processes
  • develop team members through feedback and performance reviews
  • enforce sanitary practices and food safety standards including ServSafe certification
  • maintain a score of 90 percent or higher on health and internal inspections
  • ensure compliance with Moe's and Sterling operational standards
  • manage food inventory and flow to ensure quality and minimize waste
  • implement proper security procedures to protect guests, employees, and assets
  • maintain a safe working environment to reduce injury risk, complete necessary reports in case of accidents
  • manage shifts effectively
  • investigate and respond to mystery shopper reports to improve operations
  • adhere to Sterling financial standards to increase sales and minimize costs
  • analyze monthly profit and loss statements and implement plans to improve profitability
  • ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • book one spirit night per month according to company policies
  • provide a strong community presence through restaurant and personnel involvement
  • report to the district manager and fulfill all job responsibilities and performance objectives in line with Sterling policies
  • maintain a positive and harmonious work environment that maximizes team morale and productivity
  • serve as a positive representative of Sterling Restaurants to the team and community
