Job Requirements

  • Prior leadership experience is required
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and mentor employees
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

  • Compliance with state alcohol serving laws where applicable

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations and staff according to company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance and discipline employees including terminations
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Cultivate a positive restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and company initiatives to staff
  • Assist with category job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain operational efficiency, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, and safety codes
  • Promote safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
  • Maintain facility and company assets
  • Perform all other assigned duties
