Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience in the full service or fast-casual restaurant industry
  • High school diploma required
  • Experience recruiting, hiring, training and developing people
  • Experience in sales and customer service
  • Demonstrate experience in operational excellence in both front of the house and back of the house
  • Proven track record of managing cost of goods and labor
  • Understanding of business reports and budgets
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Present a consistent, professional image of the cafe (and team) by maintaining all sanitation and appearance standards
  • Communicate and remain update-to-date on all marketing and promotional materials
  • Executes marketing and sales programs, following appropriate guidelines
  • Build cafe sales by cultivating relationships in the business community and initiating local store marketing campaigns
  • Upholds the highest food quality and hospitality standards
  • Ensures food safety, maintains product inventory and develops staff to prepare all food at the highest level
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and applies knowledge of all policies and procedures
  • Enjoy working in the food and beverage industry
