Job Description

This job opening is with an independently owned and operated McDonald’s franchise restaurant, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee licenses the use of McDonald’s logos and products but operates as a separate entity with full responsibility for employment decisions including hiring, firing, discipline, scheduling, and supervision. This important distinction means that if you are hired, you will be employed by the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee manages all employment matters and will be your direct employer. The parent's brand reputation and quality standards remain strong, but the employment relationship is solely between you and the franchisee.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • previous experience as a General Manager or similar role
  • ability to lead teams and manage operations
  • strong organizational skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to comply with franchisee policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • General Manager experience running high volume locations
  • background in quick service restaurants preferred
  • experience in hospitality or retail valued
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to set goals and manage teams effectively
  • must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Run a profitable restaurant
  • ensure the restaurant meets McDonald’s customer standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • work with leadership to set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
  • lead and coach Department Managers
  • follow up on department progress
  • provide coaching and direction to improve departments
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
