Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 4-6 years experience in restaurant leadership preferred
  • prior experience in family or casual dining environment preferred
  • ability to stand for entire shifts and walk long periods
  • ability to lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to use hands and fingers for fine motor skills
  • ability to bend, stoop, and reach
  • ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate effectively
  • vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
  • ability to access all restaurant areas including sales floor and stock areas
  • willingness to comply with all safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • manage daily restaurant operations including staff and policy execution
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work while appraising performance
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • shape restaurant culture and promote employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members to ensure success and satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and hospitality
  • communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives
  • assist in category job duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests while resolving food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with cost controls and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and safety policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors for guests and crew
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control daily operations including cash security, inventory, food and labor management
  • manage food cost, labor cost, and controllable expenses
  • follow recipe and portion control
  • oversee inventory process
  • optimize employee schedules
  • ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and assets
  • perform all other assigned duties
