Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership role experience
  • Minimum 4-6 years in relevant restaurant industry
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach, use hands, bend, stoop
  • Ability to taste, smell, and communicate verbally
  • Ability to visually focus and perceive surroundings
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas including sales floor and stock areas
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends

Job Qualifications

  • College and/or culinary schooling preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations and staff in compliance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise employee performance
  • Reward and discipline employees including termination
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and foster a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and variances to management
  • Cascade corporate programs and initiatives
  • Assist team members with duties as needed
  • Champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • Maintain operational efficiency, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • Enforce safe workplace behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, scheduling, and review reports
  • Manage P&L including food, labor, and controllable costs
  • Follow recipes and portion control
  • Conduct weekly inventory
  • Optimize labor scheduling
  • Ensure proper use of equipment
  • Maintain facility and company assets
  • Perform other duties as assigned
