Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 4-6 years of restaurant experience preferably in leadership roles
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to access all areas of the restaurant
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Commitment to providing excellent guest service
  • Must meet any state-mandated alcohol service age requirements where applicable

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise employee performance and provide rewards or disciplinary actions including termination
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Foster a positive restaurant culture and high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and maintain a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to staff
  • Assist team members with tasks as needed
  • Champion sales building and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest and sales per hour
  • Greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations with appropriate cost controls
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety regulations
  • Enforce safe work practices
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control inventory, food and labor costs
  • Manage weekly inventories and schedules
  • Maintain restaurant equipment and facilities
  • Perform all other assigned duties
