Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership role experience required
  • Minimum of 4-6 years in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant
  • Knowledge of state laws regarding alcohol service for managers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform other physical tasks
  • Adherence to safety and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to manage restaurant operations and staff
  • Basic computer literacy

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work while appraising employee performance
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and cascade corporate initiatives
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests and resolve food quality/service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors for a safe environment
  • Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and daily activities
  • Control cash, inventory, food and labor costs, and financial reports
  • Manage P&L and optimize food and labor costs
  • Control food costs through recipes and portion control
  • Manage labor schedules and monitor sales performance
  • Ensure proper use of equipment and maintain company assets
  • Perform all other assigned duties
