Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership experience
  • 4-6 years in family, fast-food or casual dining
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods without rest
  • ability to push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • good hand-eye coordination
  • ability to bend and stoop
  • ability to taste and smell
  • verbal communication skills
  • visual acuity including close, distance, color and peripheral vision

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and handle employee disciplinary actions including termination
  • shape and maintain restaurant culture to ensure high employee engagement
  • coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • model professional behavior and create a hospitable atmosphere
  • communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to the management team and staff
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with cost control and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health, safety, and security policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash, inventory, food, labor scheduling and review financial reports
  • manage P&L by controlling food and labor costs
  • ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facility
  • perform other duties as assigned
