Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team
  • Knowledge of OSHA and local health and safety regulations
  • Basic computer skills
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations according to company policies and applicable laws
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise employee performance
  • Reward, discipline, and terminate employees as necessary
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Shape restaurant culture and ensure high employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Model professional behavior and create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and initiatives to the team
  • Assist team members with duties as needed
  • Champion sales building and suggestive selling strategies
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests, resolve service and food quality issues
  • Maintain cost controls and manage profitability
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and company safety policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors
  • Monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • Control cash, inventory, and labor management
  • Manage P&L including food and labor costs
  • Follow recipes and portion control
  • Oversee weekly inventory processes
  • Optimize employee schedules
  • Ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
