Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior leadership experience
- 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurants preferred
- must be able to stand for entire shifts and walk long periods
- ability to lift, push, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands for detailed tasks
- ability to taste and smell
- ability to verbally communicate effectively
- visual acuity including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- ability to access all restaurant areas including floors, stock, and registers
- availability to work various shifts including weekends
- compliance with all applicable laws for alcohol service in relevant states

Job Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
- recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
- plan, assign, and direct work
- appraise performance
- reward and discipline employees including termination
- address complaints and resolve problems
- shape restaurant culture to ensure high employee engagement
- coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
- model professional behavior and foster a hospitable atmosphere
- communicate sales performance and variances to management team
- cascade corporate programs and initiatives
- assist team members with job duties as needed
- champion sales-building activities and suggestive selling
- maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
- meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
- maintain efficient operations and appropriate cost controls
- ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
- enforce safe work behaviors
- monitor daily activities to ensure food quality and cleanliness standards
- control cash, inventory, food and labor costs
- review financial reports and schedules
- manage food cost through recipe and portion control and inventory processes
- optimize labor costs by scheduling effectively
- ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and facilities
- perform any other duties as assigned
