Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred
3-5+ years of retail management or relevant experience
Proficiency with technology such as POS and Microsoft Office
Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Availability to close store at least once per week
Ability to attend corporate meetings including overnight and interstate travel
Maintain valid ID for airline travel

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred
3-5+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant experience
Proven financial management skills including sales growth, payroll budget management, and expense control
Experience in retail management with inventory monitoring, operational excellence, service culture, and merchandising
Leadership experience in attracting, developing and motivating talent
Proficiency with basic technology including POS, Microsoft Office, and Apple devices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to change

Job Duties

Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and retail shrink goals
Drive company profitability through operational excellence, sales growth, and expense control
Leverage store forecast and payroll budgets for optimal scheduling and productivity
Address issues identified by financial and operational reporting and audits
Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services to serve guests better
Maintain prompt attendance and enforce attendance policy
Attract, hire, and retain a diverse team
Address policy violations and execute corrective actions
Build an engaged team reflecting the Ulta Beauty brand
Create an inclusive work environment fostering growth and engagement
Lead manager and associate development including training and coaching
Participate in ongoing training and ensure direct reports do the same
Share enterprise strategy and align store goals
Promote teamwork and provide clear direction
Execute Guest Engagement Leader program to enhance guest experience
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and dress code
Use scheduling and task management tools effectively
Protect company assets through safety, inventory control, and loss prevention
Perform daily inventory control and theft reporting
Support continuous improvement and adoption of new initiatives
Utilize company resources to drive store improvements
Communicate business trends and opportunities to field leadership
