Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years professional experience
  • Strong management skills
  • Strong influence, interpersonal, communication, problem solving and creative solution generation skills
  • General business acumen
  • Expert knowledge of all restaurant computer systems such as Resy, Opentable, POS systems
  • Able to quickly integrate into a team and be recognized as a leader
  • Able to delegate effectively

Job Duties

  • Manage day-to-day operations
  • Lead and mentor floor managers and staff
  • Ensure high-quality customer service
  • Develop risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Investigate and settle grievances in the absence of the general manager
  • Maintain corporate mandates and daily reports
  • Analyze staffing needs and develop plans
  • Screen, interview, and recruit applicants
  • Coach and train management staff
  • Monitor team morale, productivity, and fiscal responsibility
  • Track expenses and financial activities
  • Assist in setting sales forecasts and profitability reports
  • Communicate sales and key issues to senior leadership
  • Increase sales through marketing and staff incentives
  • Manage budgets including revenues, cost of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and address variances
