Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years' supervisory or leadership experience in retail, finance, service or related industries
  • Operations experience in leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with phones, Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Personal vehicle available for work use with mileage compensation
  • Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama)
  • Background check required
  • Ability to meet physical demands including standing up to 90% of the time, lifting up to 25 pounds, moving inside and outside store, operating mechanical controls

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years' experience with proven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries
  • Operations experience in a leadership capacity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in using phones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Background check clearance
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position
  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Experience in check cashing, document verification, money order processing preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding company performance standards
  • Coach, lead, and develop all team members to build new business and increase store growth
  • Lead the charge for marketing strategies, business partnerships, referrals, community, and in-store events
  • Examine, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and assess risk within established limits
  • Enforce adherence to quality standards, procedures, local and state laws
  • Supervise and maintain office security including cash management and loss prevention
  • Conduct proper opening and closing procedures and train new staff in keyholder duties
  • Participate in hiring and retention of employees
  • Develop work schedules in accordance with budget and store needs
  • Handle complex customer situations with professionalism
  • Monitor and maintain store appearance and address facility needs
  • Perform duties outside the office such as vehicle appraisals and marketing
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks
  • Maintain a full-time schedule with regular attendance including weekends
