Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience is required
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant preferred
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts and weekends
  • Must meet state age requirements for alcohol-serving restaurants where applicable
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift, push, carry up to 50 pounds
  • Manual dexterity and sensory skills required
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and visually
  • Ability to access all restaurant areas
  • Commitment to safety and sanitation policy adherence

  • Experience with P&L management and cost control
  • Knowledge of OSHA and health code compliance

  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
  • College education or culinary training preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations including staff supervision and company policy implementation
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work while appraising performance and handling disciplinary actions
  • Build a positive restaurant culture to enhance employee engagement
  • Coach and mentor team members for employee success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior and foster a hospitable environment
  • Communicate sales performance and corporate initiatives to staff
  • Assist team members with job duties as needed
  • Promote sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover and sales metrics
  • Engage with guests to resolve food quality and service issues
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company policies
  • Enforce safe work practices
  • Monitor daily activities for quality food and cleanliness
  • Control daily operations including cash handling, inventory, and scheduling
  • Manage P&L including food and labor costs
  • Follow recipes and portion controls to manage food cost
  • Optimize labor schedules and monitor sales performance
  • Maintain restaurant equipment and facilities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
