- prior experience managing multiple departments across multiple locations

Job Qualifications
- bachelors degree in business or related field or equivalent professional experience
- minimum five years of management and personnel supervision experience
- experience in client-facing service operations with leadership in varied workflows
- general understanding of basic accounting principles including budgeting
- prior cemetery or funeral home management experience preferred
- valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle
- availability to work some holidays evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- take full ownership of all aspects of portfolio daily operations including P&L responsibility
- achieve or exceed budgeted sales and profit levels
- review financial results against budget goals and correct deviations
- act as an example of excellent customer service by resolving escalated issues
- provide motivational leadership to teams
- facilitate weekly managers meetings to review staffing and training needs
- recruit, hire, train and retain staff according to company standards
- conduct performance reviews and create development plans
- manage merchandise and property inventory
- influence and manage vendor relationships
- ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards
- select and purchase operational materials within budget
