Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- One to two years of previous General Manager experience at a hotel
- Willingness and desire to create a team learning environment
- Demonstrated ability to balance department efficiency and service excellence
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to supervise with coaching, mentoring, training, and developing employee performance
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to interact positively with employees at various levels and guests
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload

Job Duties
- Plan, develop and implement organization policies and goals
- Coordinate activities of departments within the hotel to ensure operational efficiency
- Direct and coordinate promotion of hotel services to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industry
- Analyze department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made and allocate operating budget
- Confer with administrative personnel and review activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required
- Direct preparation of directives to Regional Director of Operations outlining policies, programs, or operational changes that need to be implemented
- Promote hotel within local associations
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
