Job Requirements
- At least 6 years progressive hotel or related experience
- or 4-year college degree and 4-5 years related experience
- or 2-year college degree and 5-6 years related experience
- ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Tour the operating departments daily, making adjustments as needed via department heads
- conduct weekly staff meetings including training sessions and review of sales and operations efforts
- meet all financial review dates and corporate programs timely
- hold monthly financial reviews with department managers and supervisors
- ensure department heads maintain budgeted productivity and accounting procedures
- develop managers through competency and corporate training programs
- conduct daily sales meetings with Director of Sales and assist in sales efforts
- participate in Manager on Duty coverage as scheduled
- monitor management trainees development
- enforce Highgate Hotel policies and train new managers
- assist in budget process as required
- implement training in service standards across departments
- foster a positive team-oriented environment focused on guest and employee motivation
- inspect rooms regularly with Housekeeping Manager and Property Engineer
- ensure invoice processing daily
- comply with monthly accounting calendar submissions
- maintain cleanliness and preventive maintenance inspections
- supervise employee guest interaction standards
- forecast monthly financial position and reforecast based on data
- conduct and oversee management interviews and hiring procedures
- administer performance appraisals and disciplinary actions
- perform additional duties as requested
- ensure fairness in employee treatment
- engage with clients for sales support
- be present in public areas during peak times to assist guests
- manage hotel safe procedures and monthly audits
- conduct monthly credit meetings and enforce collection policies
- complete corporate training and certification
- ensure all scheduled meetings occur on property
