Job Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • minimum of 1 year experience as a hotel general manager
  • proficiency in computer skills
  • excellent organizational abilities
  • strong time management skills
  • effective problem-solving capabilities
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours and perform physical tasks including kneeling squatting sitting standing bending twisting
  • ability to lift push and pull up to 20lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license
  • 1+ years of experience as a hotel general manager

Job Duties

  • Recruit train and motivate a dedicated team of 6-12 staff members
  • provide hands-on support and guidance to ensure the team achieves outstanding results
  • ensure the hotel is always guest ready by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and addressing guest concerns promptly
  • manage and address guest reviews to maintain review standards
  • follow brand guidelines and meet operational deadlines
  • manage budgets, control labor, occupancy, and profits and loss to facilitate successful operations
  • network within the local community to promote the property and build relationships with competitive properties and key clients
  • lead in-house guest sales and marketing initiatives to increase occupancy
  • assist with housekeeping tasks and daily laundry duties as needed
  • cover employee shifts to ensure operational continuity
  • know and follow property emergency procedures and ensure security of property and guests
  • perform other duties as assigned
