Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior leadership role experience
  • 4-6 years experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining environment preferred
  • compliance with state-mandated age requirements for alcohol service where applicable
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • ability to use hands to handle objects and controls
  • ability to bend and stoop
  • ability to taste and smell
  • ability to verbally communicate
  • ability to use close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage daily restaurant operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • plan, assign, and direct work
  • appraise performance and handle disciplinary actions including terminations
  • address complaints and resolve problems
  • coach and mentor team members for success and guest satisfaction
  • maintain a warm, friendly, hospitable atmosphere encouraging employees to do their best
  • communicate sales performance and anticipate variances
  • cascade corporate programs and initiatives to staff
  • assist team members with job duties as needed
  • champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • meet and greet guests and resolve food quality or service issues
  • maintain efficient operations with cost controls and profit management
  • ensure compliance with OSHA, health and safety codes, and company safety policies
  • enforce safe work behaviors
  • monitor food quality and cleanliness standards
  • control cash procedures, inventory, food and labor costs, and review financial reports
  • manage food and labor costs through scheduling and inventory
  • ensure proper use of restaurant equipment
  • maintain facility and company assets
  • perform all other assigned duties
