Job Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years supervisory experience in a restaurant or related setting
  • Certified in a national food safety program
  • Ability to stand and walk constantly
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 100 lbs occasionally
  • Strong communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in basic computer and email usage
  • Commitment to upholding restaurant policies and guest service standards

Job Qualifications

  • College graduate with degree in hotel and restaurant management or equivalent experience
  • Certified in a national food safety program
  • Five years experience in a supervisory position
  • Certified in-store trainer in all areas

Job Duties

  • Lead team to increase business sales and net profit to meet the annual budget
  • Ensure preparation and review of daily summary report against cash register totals with accuracy
  • Prepare weekly operations report based on daily summaries
  • Complete and follow up on weekly schedules and daily deployment based on budget forecasts
  • Maintain controllable costs and product inventory according to business needs
  • Document food temperatures and product rotation following quality control and safe food checklists
  • Train team in food safety practices
  • Maintain product quality and portion control
  • Support risk management team in safety standards implementation
  • Supervise hiring, orientation, and ongoing training of all team members
  • Develop management skills among management team
  • Coach and mentor team members with performance documentation
  • Conduct management and team member performance appraisals and wage adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws
  • Enroll eligible team members in group benefits
  • Enforce policies consistently
  • Conduct weekly management meetings and quarterly team member meetings
  • Maintain uniform and appearance standards
  • Communicate restaurant information effectively
  • Maintain excellence in guest relations and follow up on guest feedback
  • Supervise service time standards in-house and drive-thru
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment
  • Manage cleaning and organization of restaurant and grounds
  • Perform daily restaurant tours pre- and post-shift
  • Foster community relationships through local marketing events
  • Model positive behavior and professional appearance
  • Attend manager skills classes and apply new knowledge
  • Monitor and respond to email and extranet communications
  • Implement new products and procedures
  • Maintain proper documentation and postings
  • Coordinate and implement restaurant policies across team members
