Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Two to four years of relevant operations management experience
  • Proven success in financial goal achievement
  • Experience in senior living or related industries
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Knowledge of facilities management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Compliance with motor vehicle policy
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to provide on-call and overnight coverage
  • Willingness to work various community roles as needed
  • Ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Two to four years of experience in operations management with success in meeting financial goals
  • Successful work history in senior living, long-term care, hospitality, restaurant, or retail management
  • Demonstrated success in operating a quality, customer service focused workforce
  • Experience recruiting, training, and developing team members
  • Understanding of performance management as guided by the Company
  • Knowledge of facilities management and maintenance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Compliance with Company’s Motor Vehicle Policy
  • Valid driver’s license

Job Duties

  • Partner with the Regional Vice President in sales and operations strategy development
  • Regularly communicate community performance with Regional Vice President
  • Supervise and partner with Community Sales Manager on competitive threats and sales plans
  • Perform marketing and sales activities including calls, tours, and sales meetings
  • Implement strategies regarding labor, occupancy, expenses, and quality enhancement
  • Assist in budget development and expense forecasting
  • Act as liaison between operations and Support Center
  • Review and recommend building needs and preventative maintenance
  • Provide on-call and overnight coverage as needed
  • Work in various community positions to provide coverage as necessary
  • Build a high-performing team and maintain employee engagement
  • Interview, hire, train, schedule, and manage performance of staff
  • Meet financial management requirements
  • Maintain a safe working and living environment
  • Conduct monthly resident and staff meetings
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as assigned
