Job Qualifications
- College degree preferred but not required
- previous restaurant experience required
- knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
- valid driver's license
- eligibility to work in the United States
- agreement to background check
Job Duties
- Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
- ensure 100 percent guest satisfaction in areas of quality, service and cleanliness
- respond to guest complaints and take actions to convert dissatisfied guests into regulars
- provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues
- maintain an accurate and ongoing staffing needs plan
- interview prospective employees and follow the four steps of staffing
- develop all team members through ongoing feedback and performance reviews
- create a positive work environment known in the community as the place to work
- enforce sanitary practices for food handling and cleanliness
- maintain a minimum 90 percent score on health and Steritech inspections
- ensure compliance with Moe's and Sterling operational standards
- manage food ordering, receiving, storing, and serving to ensure high quality and low waste
- ensure proper security procedures to protect guests, employees, and assets
- ensure a safe guest and work environment and complete necessary injury reports
- effectively manage shifts
- investigate and respond to mystery shopper reports
- adhere to Sterling standards for sales, labor, and food costs
- analyze monthly P&L reports for profitability improvements
- complete all financial reporting accurately and timely
- book one spirit night per month and promote community involvement
