Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior leadership experience required
  • 4-6 years of experience in family, fast-food, or casual dining restaurant strongly preferred
  • College or culinary education preferred
  • Compliance with state mandated age requirements for alcohol service if applicable
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Availability to work various shifts including weekends

Job Duties

  • Manage daily operations and staff of the restaurant including compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train employees
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise employee performance and handle rewards, discipline, and terminations
  • Foster a high level of employee engagement and shape restaurant culture
  • Coach and mentor team members for job success and guest satisfaction
  • Model professional behavior while creating a hospitable atmosphere
  • Communicate sales performance and initiatives to management team
  • Assist team members with category job duties as needed
  • Champion sales building activities and suggestive selling
  • Maximize table turnover, sales per guest, and sales per hour
  • Meet and greet guests and resolve food quality and service issues
  • Maintain efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety policies
  • Enforce safe work behaviors for guests and crew
  • Monitor daily activities to ensure food quality and cleanliness
  • Control cash procedures, inventory, labor and food costs
  • Manage labor scheduling and performance
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of restaurant equipment and facility
  • Perform all other assigned duties
