Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required
- CCAM, CMCA or PCAM designation required
- Minimum of three years of successful high-profile community management experience or equivalent in related fields such as rental property or hotel management
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and by phone
- Finger dexterity for typing and keyboard use
- Mobility to move around office and property, including uneven areas
- Valid driver's license and state mandated vehicle insurance
- Reliable transportation and ability to drive to other locations
- Availability to attend evening board meetings during the workweek

- Familiarity with homeowner association rules, facility maintenance, governing documents, budgets and financial statements
- Service-oriented mindset with multi-tasking abilities and resilient attitude
- Ability to work with volunteer board members in a servant-leader role
- Ability to handle conflict and work under pressure
- Ability to instill confidence in staff, board members and residents through preparedness
Job Duties
- Acquire an understanding of all community governing documents and ensure all requirements are followed
- Quickly gain a working knowledge of FirstService systems and assimilate standard operating policies and procedures
- Recruit, hire, train and supervise all staff, creating staffing plans and budgets for board approval
- Promote FSR Global Service Standards amongst FSR associates and vendors
- Proactively inspect the clubhouse, exterior common areas, building systems, landscape and ensure timely repairs and maintenance
- Ensure all fire, life and safety systems are operable and emergency procedures are well documented and understood
- Respond to homeowner and resident inquiries and act as the point of contact for the Board of Directors
- Prepare and post board meeting agendas and detailed, concise board meeting packets
- Attend and participate in board and committee meetings, preparing minutes
- Approve and code vendor invoices and ensure vendor compliance
- Monitor the association's financial position and present monthly reports
- Lead board in developing short-term and long-range plans with actionable recommendations
- Prepare annual budgets with reserve study disclosures and ensure timely distribution
- Support board sub-committees providing seamless communication
- Administer annual elections and meetings
- Ensure annual CPA audits and tax filings are completed and distributed timely
- Assess and implement community improvement programs
- Maintain highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct
- Participate in meetings and workgroups to integrate activities and resolve issues
- Follow all safety precautions and participate in FSR training activities
- Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned
